The Group Disability Department is seeking qualified Disability Case Managers and Admin support to manage claims.

The Disability Case Manager will be responsible for:

  • Telephoning claimants to conduct interviews based on pre-determined set of questions;
  • Referring the claim to the Perm Specialist if there are concerns following the telephonic interview;
  • Requesting medical documentation from claimant’s doctors and pharmacy records from claimant’s pharmacy provider;
  • Forwarding letters and forms to the claimant for completion;
  • Completing all required system work in Navigator including setting tasks for Perm Specialist and Perm Case Managers.

The Disability Case Manager will work closely with internal resources such as LTD Case Managers, Perm Specialist, KW TD65 SDA, Disability Supervisors, Disability Specialists, and externally, Plan Sponsors, claimants, doctors and pharmacy providers.

Additional Info:

  • Telephone work. Calling the claimant and asking questions regarding work ability, hobbies, functional level and other income. Call other stakeholders (Plan Sponsors, doctors, etc.) as required. 2. Preparing letters to claimants and other stakeholders.
  • Perform Navigator system work.
  • Liaise with LTD Case Managers, Perm Specialist and KW TD65 SDA if they are questions.

Salary: $18.00 /hour
