We are currently seeking a Training Coordinator to assist with the training and testing of our mechanics and other staff in the shop. This incumbent will need to have a thorough understanding of the mechanic apprenticeship programs, mechanic online training, and certifications as well as be able to answer questions related to the training with relevant examples from their experience.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Schedule, communicate and manage training and test sessions
• Book online sessions and/or organize offsite/classroom session
• Provide support during training sessions
• Work collaboratively with staff and management to ensure training and testing schedules will fit the business needs
• Maintain employee records of training complete, upcoming training and required training

Education & Skills Requirements:

• Possess a thorough knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance, repair, parts and components
• Formal technical training or education
• Experience in transportation repair or related field
• Proven experience coaching, leading, teaching or training
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

Job Type: Temporary
