We are Kabooter Knomes Entertainment Inc., a start up kids’ entertainment company that helps families “play old school” while sharing laughs and providing opportunities to let their imaginations soar. We are gearing up for launch of our suite of products – a book, website, app, and merchandise – in the fall of 2016.

We need a student to join our team for the summer to work with our small, founding executive team and assist us with everything we do.

Our ideal candidate is a perfect mix between a Type A tech wiz and a creative genius (just like us).

Are you a team player who is a self-starter, organized, and an independent worker? Are you adaptable, flexible, yet disciplined? Do you say what you will do, and then do it, and do it right?

We need a team member who shares a passion for our vision, fits into our modern and relaxed corporate culture, and most importantly, who appreciates our quirky sense of humour.

This position is much more than a job. The successful applicant will play a meaningful role in our business launch and will be mentored but not micro managed.

It would be a plus if you have
- Marketing education and/or experience (traditional/social media)-
- Bring your own laptop
- App development experience
- Merchandising knowledge

As this position is partially funded by the Canada Summer Jobs government funding program you must be:
- Between 15 and 30 years of age; registered as a full-time student during the 2015-16 year; intend to return to school full time for 2016-17; a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred; and are legally entitled to work according to BC legislation and regulations.
