Objective:

The Junior Stylist will support the Design team in facilitating all aspects from concept to design and final development of style for ongoing collections.

Responsible for:

  • Provide support to designers in creating illustrator sketches; assist in preparing technical data sheets;
  • Maintain product development and design records in the computer system;
  • Create technical and print drawings;
  • Monitor and coordinate raw materials and trims for approval;
  • Study fabric samples with the designers;
  • Follow up with designers and suppliers, technical drawings and production; facilitate communication within the company;
  • Establish collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal clients;
  • Contribute positively to team dynamics.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in the women fashion industry would be an asset
  • Degree in fashion design (completed);
  • Technical abilities on Adobe Illustrator design software (required), with Photoshop (required) and In Design (an asset);
  • Experience in creating technical and print drawings;
  • Bilingual (English and French) written and spoken
  • Demonstrated detail orientation; high sense of organization;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines;
  • Team work, leadership essential.

Technical Skills:

  • Technical abilities on Adobe Illustrator design software (required), with Photoshop (required) and In Design (an asset);
  • Experience in creating technical and print drawings;
