The Junior
Translator (9 month contract) translator is responsible for providing
quality, accurate and timely translations (from English to French), reviews and
approvals specific to the CCDS label implementation project. The incumbent will
work as part of the Linguistics team to provide support to the CCDS project
team in adapting the French label copy to regulatory mandated changes for OTC,
Health & Beauty, Oral Care, Skincare and Compromised Skin portfolios of the
business.

Major Responsibilities:
Translate updates to product labels .

Proofread product labeling using internal
automated tool.

Manage the project and its priorities, establish
and negotiate deadlines, build and maintain ongoing relationships with the
project team.

Actively participate to the weekly meetings
as a core member of the project team.

Develop and maintain knowledge of J&J products
and portfolios.

Comply with internal translation processes.

Work closely with the Linguistics team to
ensure consistency and accuracy of translation.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in translation.

3-5 years experience in translation,
preferably in the healthcare and/or beauty and skincare industry.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite,
translation memory tool Logiterm, Adobe, and online artwork review tools.

Superior attention to accuracy and detail.

High degree of initiative and strong
communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure, and meet
tight deadlines in an environment with many rush requests and interruptions.

Strong commitment to working in a team
environment and demonstrated sense of valuing collaboration.
