Johnson & Johnson Inc., based in Markham, Ontario, is currently recruiting for a 4 month Financial Analyst Coop for the Consumer Division starting in April/May 2015.

As a Co-op student working in the Corporate Finance area, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with finance colleagues in performing critical accounting activities and upholding financial compliance integrity.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor and maintain the compliance of the financial month end activities

Coordinate and ensure completeness of key S-Ox controls

Support the intercompany accounting process

Prepare and coordinate the compliance of the payment cycle reports

Support for financial month-end requirements (journal entries & balance sheet reconciliations)

Collaborate with internal business partners on financial analysis and reporting

Responsible for documentation activities to ensure a smooth transition

Other ad-hoc requests including project testing, internal/external audit query resolutions & etc.

Qualifications

Candidate must be in his/her final two years of a bachelor degree (preferably majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration).

The ideal candidate is interested in working towards a CPA designation and has completed at least one co-op term with relevant experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
