0788191BC Ltd (dba Italian Kitchen) is currently comprised of nine restaurants; glowbal grill steaks & satay, COAST Resaturant, italian Kitchen, two Trattoria Italian Kitchen locations, SOCIETY, Black+Blue, The Fish Shack, The Roof, an IK2GO location; and two lounges; OLoung and AfterGLOW. The collection is quickly expanding and has numerous new projects in production over the next eighteen months; Trattoria Italian Kitchen Burnaby and multiple locations and concepts in Telus Gardens. The energy, bustle and allure of these celebrated Vancouver restaurants are what most people notice first. in addition, engaging service, exquisite wine lists, and some of the most inventive, celebrated cuisines in Vancouver define every restaurant in the collection.

We are currently seeking a MAESTRO PIZZAIOLO for our new Trattoria Burnaby location at 4501 Kingsway Burnaby, BC V5H 4V8

Key Responsiblities:
prepare fresh pizza dough

ensure sanitary cooking conditions and appropriate safe food handling

assist in menu development focusing on the classics but also considering innovative creative ideas that are ahead of the trend

assist in cost control, monitoring and ordering of supplies

train apprentices to uphold preparation and quality standards at each location

Requirments:
Min 5 years experience in pizza making, preferably in Italy

FOOD SAFE certification (within 2 weeks employment)

traditional italian culinary experience and a passion for the craft of pizza making

experience with hand tossed fresh pizza dough and showman skills to wow our guests

aptitude to train and mentor a team to ensure product quality and consistency

ability to deal with high pressure environments
