IT Chapter is looking for Sr Solution Architect – Asset Lifecycle Management

Job Description:

The SPOT.IT program objective is to implement sustainable security controls to address the risks associated with Operational Technology (OT) systems being compromised accidentally or intentionally from internal and external sources leading to safety or operational incidents. The program is composed of more then 11 projects.

This role is for managing end-to-end architecture of the Asset Lifecycle management project within the program. The objective of this project is to implement and adjust the processes and tools that have a direct impact on the introduction and changes of OT systems to provide strong foundation for security management (OT inventory and configuration) and to seamlessly integrate security controls in the operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the planning and delivery of the architecture solution including all aspects of architecture (Business, Application, information, technology and security). Work closely with other architects that will be responsible to deliver some of the aspects of the solution.
  • Ensure alignment of the solution architecture with appropriate IT standards, roadmaps and strategies.
  • Ensure the solution is sound, meet the program and corporate objectives and make good use of the CN landscape. (The solution is not in a green field environment it has to leverage/integrate with the existing enterprise & IT asset management solutions)
  • Identify the impact of the solution on other ongoing or planned initiatives.
  • Actively engage in the identification, resolution and mitigation of all technical. & architectural risk & issues.
  • Govern the solution architecture through the delivery stages. Ensure the architecture is well understood by the delivery teams and that they design & implement the solution as per the architecture specifications.
  • Help the project manager to develop the WBS and project plan, which includes the timeline, budget and resource plans.

Key Deliverables:

  • High level solution architecture (including the Business, Application, Information Technogloy and Security dimension) defining the target state and all required intermediate states.
  • Information Conceptual and Logical Models for IT/OT Service, Asset and Configuration managements.
  • Architecture directions and position in regards of the IT/OT asset and Configuration management and it’s relation with the different other security management capabilities.
  • Architecture Planning: list of activities, directions and decisions that will have to be performed during the Assessment and Planning with an estimate of the effort, type of resources required and level of uncertainty. This is the architecture input for A&P plans delivered by the Project Manager.
  • Chair meetings and conference calls as required

Skill Set:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience as a Sr Solution Architect for large projects.
  • Experience in large Asset management projects
  • Practical Experience on Enterprise Asset Management, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Strong Functional and information architecture experience in complex environment.
  • Knowledge IT/OT convergence challenges and impact related to the management “digital” assets
  • Experience with SAP (Enterprise Asset Management) and HP Enterprise (IT/OT inventory, configuration and service management) suites. Experience with the concept of a CMDB.
  • Knowledge of field Inspection and maintenance management solution
  • Experience in working under pressure in a fast-pace corporate environment, adapting to changing priorities, understanding of business objectives and multi-tasking.
  • Great leadership skills, ability to influence and leverage network to strive consensus towards a target solution that will generate value for the company.
  • 1Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, French and English.
  • Abilily to build collaborative relationships, work in a matrix environment and foster engagement, help team members grow and develop through coaching and constructive feedback.
