We are currently looking for a

Seasonal Delivery Dispatcher

to join our growing team! Our Irving Energy business line delivers propane, heating oil and diesel to both commercial and residential customers as well as offering a full complement heating service operation.

Duties include:
Researches, analysis and evaluates relevant information to drive efficiencies

Identifies issues that may impact the quality of work and takes initiative to address issues whenever appropriate

Utilizes technology to effectively gather and respond to requests for information by both internal and external sources

Shares knowledge of product and service offerings with a broad audience

Drives collective ownership of team goals and objectives

Makes difficult and time sensitive decisions to support business objectives

Effectively manages exceptions within established parameters

Provides analysis utilizing best practices and runs own report for area (stand by time, travel time, productivity, activity analysis, work hours, exception reports)

Utilizes various scenarios to provide recommendations to management (optimizing performance, costs savings, opportunity analysis, etc.)

Effectively brings forward and where applicable, implements recommendations, suggestions and/or strategies to optimize performance and proactively address issues

Responsible for ensuring there is time allocated for future bookings based on capacity and demand forecast

Maximize the productivity and efficiencies by locating calls in the same zone

Ensure each Driver for own area is productive

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Post-Secondary education and/or equivalent experience in a customer service environment required

2-3 years operations or customer service experience

Previous exposure to the distribution industry would be as asset

Must be able to work well in a team environment

Good communication skills both verbal and written

Team Player that can accept shared responsibility

Excellent customer service skills

Problem solving skills, strong analytical skills, excellent computer skills, attention to detail and effective time management
