JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our growing business. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of Blending and Production.

Duties include:
Ensure proper Blending and Production procedures are being followed

Ensure Blending and Production planned work stays on schedule to meet customer deliverables

Manage the bulk loading process

Responsible for tank cars being offloaded

Oversee and provide input to correct “off spec” blends

Oversee new, reconditioned and repaired equipment installation for Production and Blending

Manage inventories, utilizations and efficiencies

Align and collaborate with other departments

Ensure safety procedures are being followed and required certificates are kept up to date

Responsible for annual Budget for Production and Blending

Responsible for delivering annual Business Plan initiatives

Manage eight production lines and supervise employees (time sheets, PMDs, employee issues, etc.)

A working manager on the production and/or blending lines when necessary

Responsible for Drum Reconditioning and Cube Reconditioning

Manage internal Delivery Truck and Driver

Responsible for cleanliness and general maintenance of Blending and Production areas/facilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Post secondary education or equivalent experience

5-7 years production and blending experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail

Financial acumen

Strong customer focus

Experience managing in an environment focused on Environment, Health & Safety
