IRIS is currently seeking a Full Time Optometrist with a passion for customer service and patient care to join our dynamic eye care team in Victoria, British Columbia. Clinical time will be divided between two IRIS locations:

IRIS 635 (Tillicum Shopping Center): #13 – 3170 Tillicum Road, Victoria, BC, V9A 7C5

IRIS 655 (Veterans Memorial Parkway): #109, 693 Hoffman Avenue, Victoria, BC, V9B 4X1

Job Duties: Examine patients’ eyes, conduct tests and use specialized instruments to determine visual efficiency; Prescribe treatment to conserve, improve and correct vision and other ocular disorders. Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses and counsel on use and care, counsel patients on visual hygiene, lighting arrangements, working distances and safety factors; refer patients to ophthalmologists or other physicians and surgeons when ocular or other diseases are found.

Experience Required: A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience is preferred

Candidates should be in good standing with the College of Optometrists of British Columbia or be eligible for registration.

Applicant needs to be flexible with their hours and be able to work Friday and Saturdays!
