Purpose:
We pride ourselves in creating and delivering a POS SaaS (software as a service) solution that supports hundreds of thousands of devices. Every day millions of operations are carried out using our flagship product, RQ. RQ is an all-in-one solution that covers all aspects of POS, such as managing employees, inventory, customers, and of course making sales.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a forward thinking individual that is able to design solid solutions, and write solid code. We strive not only to find a solution that will work, but to find the best solution available. We work on many critical components, so ensuring that the right design is used and that bugs do not make it into production are extremely important. Analyzing a solution to anticipate problems before they surface should be a regular part of your problem-solving process.

The RQ ecosystem is vast and encompasses many different teams. It is our responsibility collaborate with teams to ensure they have a good understanding of the ecosystem, and that services they create are built in such a manner they do not jeopardize the integrity of the ecosystem. When there is a problem, we are often one of the first points of contact to help diagnose the cause of the issue.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
5+ years of professional programming experience
Experience with C#, .Net, and SQL
Knowledge of WCF, REST, and PowerShell is an asset
Eagerness to learn
Familiarity with software design patterns
Strong problem-solving skills
Application monitoring and diagnostics
Ability to easily collaborate with others
Self-motivated, autonomous, and does not require micro-management
