The Recreation Services Administrator will provide support to the Recreation Services Department with all corporate, social and leisure overnight and day groups, checking in via the Point of Sale.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles sales transactions for group lift tickets, lessons and attractions; be confident with managing guest expectations and aware of what solutions are available to ensure satisfactory service recovery
  • Knowledgeable of all aspects of the Recreation Services Department and its products, services, policies and procedures
  • Serves as reception for the Recreation Services Office
  • Ensures correct liability forms have been completed before issuing tickets
  • Responsible for departmental cashier functions, including solving invoice and account issues
  • Supports Recreation Services Coordinator with data entry
  • Communicates group arrivals to Snow School and Rental Departments
  • Supports Recreation Services Greeter when required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Extensive Computer experience and technical skill required. Comfortable working on computers and learning new software programs
  • Experience handling money
  • Completion of High School
  • Previous recreational/resort experience and knowledge an asset
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and troubleshoot
  • Team oriented with an energetic, friendly, cheerful and animated demeanor
  • Flexible work schedule – able to work weekends and holidays
