This is a new role for our Company; we are growing and need more assistance. We need an individual to provide administrative and clerical services for our Company. There is a wide range of duties that will require someone with experience in several areas. The position requires an organized and highly motivated individual that will take the initiative to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. You must be flexible in your ability to manage your day to day duties as depending on what is happening that day as the priority of what is required could change more than once.

Please note that bus service to our industrial area is not available so there is a good walk from the closest bus stop to our building. Our address is 851-77 Avenue Edmonton AB, T6P 1S9

Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
Processing invoices & purchase orders for payment
Processing payment runs as per procedure & schedule
Entering new Vendors into the Database
Updating Vendor information as required
Reconciling statements from vendors and following up on issues
Filing payments

Accounts Receivable:
Sending invoices to customers
Updating Customer information in the Database
Filing Invoices
Following up on Customer questions and concerns
Manager credit card information and follow up on cards that have expired
Advise Accounting when a Preauth is about to expire

Administrative/Clerical:
Finalizing Customer Estimates for service
Finalizing Customer Quotes for equipment purchases
Prepare outgoing mail
Prepare office supply orders for approval by Manager
Monitor forms and brochures and advise the Manager when getting low
Filing as required

As the Company grows there will be changes to the role the Administrative Support Clerk so you must be willing to grow and change with the Company taking on new duties & responsibilities.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years working in an office environment; with at least one year doing Payables & Receivables.
Ability to establish priorities and have a strong capacity for initiative and innovation.
Strong computer proficiency with experience with Databases
Medium skill levels using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
60-70 WPM typing
Accuracy and
Excellent communication skills; both written and oral.

Required experience:

  • Working in an Office Environment with some experience with A/P & A/P: 3 years

or proceed with Standard Application Form.
