We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator (HRIS) for our Metrotown office in Burnaby, BC. The Human Resources Coordinator (HRIS) supports fundamental Human Resource processes, projects and information systems. The successful candidate will have exposure to and be responsible for providing hands-on support for employee data management, reporting, data analysis and problem solving technical issues.

What You’ll Do

Assist in policy and procedures administration, including tracking updates and producing various HR reports.

Oversee data collection and consolidation for various initiatives related to compensation, benefits, recruitment, and HRIS.

Assist with business process improvements to streamline work processes, minimize customization, leverage existing functionality and improve the end-user experience.

Create and maintain documentation on current and desired-state HR and system processes, including data, systems, technology infrastructure, and business processes.

Support new system implementations as required.

Create, maintain and deliver employee/manager/HR user training materials and sessions.

Develop and implement standardized SharePoint document terminology and workflows for approval, review and archiving of documents.

Perform regular audits of various systems to ensure data integrity and promote continuous improvement in data quality across the organization.

Conduct initial research on projects and produce required reports, as assigned.

What You Offer

An interest or specialization in HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Knowledgeable of HR concepts, policies and procedures.

Advanced proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, What-if) and spreadsheet analysis skills.

Solid writing, communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated experience coping effectively with change and manage priorities in a fast-paced, results oriented work environment.

Experience with HRIS reporting system (such as ADP Workforce Now) or ATS/Onboarding system (such as Silkroad) a plus.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating sound judgement and discretion.

Self-starter with the ability to resolve complex issues and problems; able to work with little supervision.

The ability to interact and respond to multiple stakeholders and prioritize requests.

Strong business acumen, to provide credible, professional and value-added services to management and employees.

Aptitude for attention to detail and high degree of accuracyProactive and results oriented with ability to take initiative to analyze situations and problems to find viable, timely solutions.

Efficiency in planning and organizing work, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Great sense of humour, positive outlook, and high level of personal accountability.
