Sr. Technical Architect / Implementer (0365) – our client is seeking an Office 365 consultant to architect the preparation of O365 implementation which will be the cornerstone of a larger Digital Workplace initiative. This setup implementation of O365 is a significant technology shift and will become the single technology platform for the organization to create, manage, share and preserve its electronic information. Furthermore, the introduction of O365 is a significant step towards realizing the vision defined by the recent Information and Technology strategy – “One Enterprise service One Citizen built on One Foundation”. The objective of this O365 Preparation Project are:

• Establish O365 governance
• Establish O365 information architecture
• Establish O365 technical environment
• Establish O365 change management
• Introduce O365 functionality to an identified department as a pilot

Mandatory Requirements Include:

• Experience managing O365 implementation in an enterprise environment with solid understanding of PM practice and deliverables, as it relates to preparation and implementation of O365.
• Experience with organizational change: communications, training, implementation approach, migration when introducing O365 for the first time into an organization
• Experience in leading the development of O365 governance framework, identification and mitigation of risks and issues, definition of roles and responsibilities
• Solid understanding of information management practices (records, security, privacy, access, search, ediscovery, and navigation) on O365 E5 (Advanced Data Governance) without any additional add-ons
• Experience and understanding of enterprise content management and collaboration

Desirable Requirements Include:

• Experience establishing O365 technical environment including ensuring that the system settings provide the security, performance, reliability and requirements of the organization; Defining and document roles and processes that enable efficient provisioning of O365 groups and related functions and templates; and establishing principles and processes for setting up and managing groups
