As a Procurement Expert, you are at the heart of identifying innovative supplier solutions in the market place that would keep Intact as leader in its class. You participate in strategic discussions and healthy debates with various levels of cross-functional experts with the aim of identifying and creating innovative solutions in partnership with third party suppliers. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest products and services and market trends.
Develop sourcing strategies for IT related initiatives and commodities that support overall Intact’s innovation strategies.
Leverage on effective market intelligence and cost modelling to develop and support negotiation strategies.
Lead proposal (RFX) process for high complexity and high risk transactions/agreements.
Develop and maintain partnership approach with suppliers focusing on TCO and ROI
Develop supplier key performance indicators and service level agreements that drive value and optimization.
Actively participate, collaborate and nurture cross-functional relationships with business partners, peers and leaders.
Support the implementation of procurement continuous improvement projects.
Contribute to a great work environment by providing exemplary leadership and by mentoring our emerging procurement talents.

10 years plus experience, broad based experience in procurement and strategic sourcing
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance or equivalent professional experience.
Deep understanding of strategic sourcing principles and P2P processes along with the ability to apply this knowledge to execute projects and optimize strategies.
Strong project management and communication skills
Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to details.
Bilingual, French & English, spoken and written
