Telesales account responsibility

 Building account distribution

 Sell in account promotions

 Executing promotional programs at retail store level

 Distribution of new products into the shelf set

 Use of consumer/category insights – fact based selling

 Provide store audit reports when required

 Resolving problems at retail to maintain company standards

 Delivering sample and collateral material when needed

 Refer accounts to web-based training

 Trade Show participation

 Complete other tasks within the scope of their training assigned by their

supervisor

Key Responsibilities

 The goal is to help both the retailer and Manitoba Harvest increase sales

volume and maximize sales

 Execution, promotion and education of the market

 Provide excellent phone level support

 Represent Manitoba Harvest products and its brands in the most favorable

manner

 Present new products, merchandising concepts, pricing, promotions,

category and consumer insights, product education and writing turnover

orders

 Training and increasing awareness of store employees

 Maintain good rapport with accounts

 Effective communication with the customers is critical to success

 Use consumer/category insights data supplied by the Category Insights

Team to strengthen overall category performance to maximize sales and

profitability

 Create strategic placement of items, best pricing strategies and best

promotional strategies which work best with specific retailers

Qualifications

 A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred Hemp and Happiness  2 – 5 years of experience as an Inside Sales Representative or an Outside

Sales Representative, Merchandiser or Retailer is required

 Working knowledge of CPG Sales & Marketing processes

 Good oral communication skills is a must

 Familiar with Internet and email functions
