Reporting to the Atlantic Canada Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the enabling team. The candidate will focus their energies on three support functions as follows:

OFFICE MANAGEMENT:

  • Oversees and manages the day to day needs of the three offices, including, but not limited to the following: security, waste management, office supplies, building and equipment maintenance, cell and land phone services, mail, deposits, shipping & receiving.
  • Creates and maintains office bulletin boards, dashboards, video presentations, etc… in an up to date and legally compliant manner.
  • Covers Reception and leads the Customer Experience.
  • Assists with orientation of new employees (computer/desks/phones/supplies).
  • Managing office supply inventory.
  • Creating vendors & purchase orders.
  • Responsible for catering requirements as needed.

MARKETING:

  • Collaborates with Atlantic Canada managers and leaders to create a marketing plan and budgets for Atlantic Canada for the year.
  • Maintains websites, customer data, associate contacts list and other external information available to our customers and associates.
  • Identify, source, create, archive and store the necessary presentations, graphics, banners, displays etc. needed for all planned and unplanned marketing activities.
  • Utilize media sources and technologies to increase Trane’s presence in Atlantic Canada, and promote our business. For example, creating and delivering an internal and external publications,
  • Coordinates all aspects of customer, industry and associate events for Trane Atlantic in a cost effective and timely manner such as Lunch & Learns, Open Houses, Golf Tournaments, Christmas Party, Employee Events, and Service Awards.
  • Coordinates, plans, prepares and attends all Trade Shows .

What we will be looking for in the successful candidate:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and manage time effectively
  • Able to travel within Atlantic Canada to our 3 locations quarterly or as needed
  • Outstanding interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • High level of initiative and accountability
  • Results-oriented
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years administrative experience supporting teams in a customer facing role
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Excellent track record of managing clients (both internal and external)
  • Comprehensive written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong planning, organizing, attention to detail, and scheduling abilities
  • Ability to prioritize work flow
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience planning events, and driving cultural activities for the team
  • Ability to thrive in a very fast paced environment, while maintaining high quality
