Responsibilities

  • Balance, reconcile accounts and aid with credit applications
  • Maintain vendor and client data/accounts
  • Preparation of monthly statements, month-end adjustments, review, and post retrievals to G/L
  • Review
  • Record and code all travel and other expenses
  • Complete cheque runs and bank deposits
  • Organize, verify authorization, enter and match invoices
  • Reporting and analysis as needed
  • General office adminstration
  • Other tasks as required

Candidate Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year’s experience in accounting functions is required
  • An accounting diploma or certificate would be an asset but not required
  • Proficiency within MS Office and various accounting software is a must -Abacus32
  • Highly detail-oriented, numeracy, strong data entry skills
  • Effective communication skills and a strong team player
  • The ability to multi-task efficiently, meet deadlines and stay organized

Monday – Friday
9:30am – 2:30pm

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $25.00 /hour

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 2 years
