Job Description WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As we evolve and transform our stores the Coordinator, Retail Projects supports the Store Development Process by producing Store Task Plans that depict the sequence of tasks, spatial changes, and labour estimates required to complete the redesign of the Store. Through this process their main priority will always be to ensure optimal employee and customer experiences with minimal business impacts. They will also act as the single point of contact for the store through the implementation of the changes .

• Create the written document and visual components of the Task Plans, adhering to criteria set by the Project Team
• Provide the Project Team with the total store labour estimate derived from the Task Plan
• Create the Store Project Calendar based on the Task Plan and the dates provided by the Project team
• Track labour hours used by the store to identify improvements for labour estimates
• Work closely with the Construction, Store Design and Visual Merchandising departments to ensure flawless execution of the re-design at store level
• Participate on the Project Team as a Store Operations representative
• Act as the single point of contact with the store throughout the execution of the Task Plan, measure progress, and address any issues
• Assist the Construction team with deficiency and issue list and ensure all are resolved in a timely manner
• Collect feedback from Stores on the Store Development process, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Communicate with Home Office partners and evaluate impact of time plan and schedule
• Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes
• Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
• Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customers
• Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them

Qualifications WHO YOU ARE:

• 3-5 years’ experience working in a Retail Environment
• University degree or College diploma an asset
