Elevator Administration Coordinator
Harding Medical, a division of CAN-med Healthcare, takes pride in delivering superior service and support, providing customers with improved mobility and independence. CAN-med Healthcare is a Canadian-owned value added distributor of medical surgical, health imaging, dental, mobility and home health care products and services, serving healthcare providers within Atlantic Canada.

The Halifax location of Harding Medical is now looking for an Elevator Administration Coordinator. A strong team member who is highly organized, this role is responsible for providing a broad array of administrative, scheduling and coordination to the Elevator sales and service team, as well as administrative support to our technical services team.

Responsibilities
  • Record and track all transactions relating to Elevator sales
  • Request cheques/payments for permits and inspection costs
  • Coordinate & schedule installs, service calls and inspections
  • Communicate with customers/contractors regarding installs and inspections
  • Ensure orders are submitted correctly to the manufacturer and schedule delivery times
  • Record, manage and schedule service contracts
  • Follow up with customers on A/R issues related to Elevator
  • Provide administrative support to technical services
  • Provide monthly reporting to management
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 or equivalent plus a post secondary commercial or business course from a recognized school
  • 3-5 years experience in a customer-focused business
  • Previous experience in scheduling service and managing contracts would be a strong asset
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Well organized and able to communicate effectively with others
  • Adaptability, versatility, and a positive attitude as a team player
