ILAC International College has an immediate opening for Program Coordinator full-time position based in Vancouver. The position is a 12-month contract position to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of developing into a permanent position.
We operate a year-‘round career college for international students with an emphasis on customer service excellence in various industry fields, such as Hospitality, Hotel, Event Planning, and Sales. For more information on our program, see http://www.se.ilaccollege.com/ .
The Program Coordinator is committed to creating, enhancing and developing activities to promote Service Excellence for Business Program and providing an ongoing support for program’s needs and students enrolled to the program, including areas of admission, students’ job placements, Guest Lecturer program, field trips, events, and social media.

Job responsibilities:

  • Initiates and leads promotion activities through various channels of communication to increase the Program popularity; Ensures the Program operates in alignment with regulatory provisions, internal student policies and procedures; Screens and select students –applicants to the program, coordinates admission test, organizes seminars; Provides ongoing support to the students enrolled to the Service Excellence for Business Program; Processes admission-related inquiries , registers students, issues necessary documents by using extensively internal databases; Develops and expands partners-employers network, that are interested in providing practicum placements for students; Fulfills students’ practicum placements, monitors progress and results; Assists with social media component as needed; Organizes, coordinates and delivers field trips and events

Requirements :
College Diploma or higher, in business, marketing, or communication preferred ; 2-3 years of experience in administrative and /or marketing role, in educational field preferred; Experience in working with students placements, network contacts with local employers are a strong asset Basic market and business process knowledge; Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills; Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with business partners; Excellent marketing, advertising, communication and interpersonal skills;
