You will lead and manage the Logistics, Recovery and Facilities functions in our Pick-Up-Point in London, Ontario. Reporting to the Pick-Up-Point Manager you will also work closely with the team in our Burlington Store and our Function Matrix partners throughout IKEA Canada. Cross-functional competence is central to the success of this role and all positions in our Pick-Up-Points.

YOUR MISSION
Partner with the Pick-Up-Point Management team to further develop our multi-channel shopping strategy.
Effectively work cross-functionally and flexibly to ensure the smooth operation and success of this location.
Lead, manage and support the recruitment, selection, development and succession of the Pick-Up-Point’s Logistics, Recovery and Facilities managers and co-workers.

YOUR GOALS
Ensure that the Pick-Up-Point’s stock availability and inventory levels are accurately monitored and maintained.
Emphasize learning and development for your team especially product knowledge, logistics principles and routines and our service offer.
Actively work with our Function Matrix and Burlington home store partners to reduce product transfers and returns from the Pick-Up-Point.
Act as the local contact for our Property management organization.
Ensure your team has a good understanding of our customer’s user journey on the IKEA website and through our shopping multi-channels.
Keep an active eye on our competition in collaboration with IKEA Burlington and IKEA Canada’s Function Matrix.

PICK-UP-POINTS will allow customers who have shopped online or at an IKEA store to pick up their products closer to where they live. Customers will also be able to buy services to support their purchases, sit at a computer station to browse www.IKEA.ca to make online purchases, as well as having access to a limited assortment of products available for immediate takeaway.
