Our client a well known financial institute, is currently looking to recruit a real-estate administrator to join their team for a short 3-month contract. Please see below for further details.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete analysis, interpretation and resolution of the various Real Estate reports.
  • Monitor aged receivables, initiate collection calls, follow up, documentation and perform the collection process through completion.
  • Assist and manage the annual recharge process and preparation of tenant payment letters with Head Office Operational Accounting
  • Be the daily point of contact for tenants on billing and reconciliation issues.
  • Follow up with tenants to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist as required with the review and interpretation of leases and preparation of the lease summary packages for review by the Supervisor/Manager prior to transmission to Head Office Operational Accounting.
  • Support the Real Estate staff in analyzing and resolving financial accounting issues as they arise. * Prepare, set-up and maintain job costing for tenant, base building and vacant jobs. Includes transferring costs to appropriate jobs, closing jobs and reporting variances.
  • On a monthly basis, prepare leasehold client charge back and ensure any overruns are invoiced accurately to clients
  • Prepare monthly accruals.
  • Assist in the preparation for the year-end recovery adjustments, including communications to tenants.

Assist in the preparation of quarterly re forecasting and the annual budgets. * Prepare relevant documentation for year-end tenant recoveries for input into CTI by Head Office Operational Accounting.

  • Support the Real Estate Office in analyzing and resolving financial accounting issues as they arise.

Skills Required:

  • Post secondary education an asset, preferably in finance, accounting.
  • Sound knowledge of Real Estate accounting and administration concepts, an asset.
  • Organize records in a manner in which they can be quickly retrieved for queries, investigations and internal and external audits
  • Minimum two-year accounting experience required, preferably in Real Estate. * Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $19.00 /hour
