Position Highlights ICBC’s Claims Legal Services department has a temporary opportunity for a Manager of Litigation Administration to work out of our New Westminster office for up to one year. As a Manager of Litigation Administration, you will be accountable for overseeing the administration, training, development, and performance of a team of paralegals, legal secretaries and claims document support assistants.

Position Requirements The successful candidate will have demonstrated management experience and senior level experience in a legal administrative position.

Ideally, you will hold an undergraduate degree, diploma and/or a Paralegal certificate combined with several years’ experience in a legal environment.

An innovative individual, you lead continuous improvement activities to increase efficiencies within your team and mitigate conflict while implementing these changes. A confident leader, you have strong communication skills and you excel at building and maintaining positive relationships with your staff and colleagues.

Strong technical systems skills and knowledge of relevant civil litigation procedures and applicable legislation such as the Supreme Court Civil Rules and the Insurance (Vehicle) Act (and Regulations) is essential.

The successful candidate must meet the provincially legislated requirements of the Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA).
