The IBM Consulting Services is looking for dynamic individuals to join our team. As a Functional Consultant, the candidate will be the first point of contact between the customer and the technical support teams providing the candidate an opportunity to grow their skills and knowledge in the exciting world of PeopleSoft.

The candidate’s responsibilities will include:

  • logging tickets in an internal Help Desk reporting system
  • analyzing and resolving the issue or escalating it to the technical team – analysis will include the use of query, testing in PeopleSoft and review of customization and/or user documentation
  • providing trend analysis of issues logged
  • identifying user training items or system deficiencies
  • writing client communication and documentation.

    This position will also provide the opportunity to learn HR management business processes, among them:

  • analysis and reconciliation of pension plans and pension transactions
  • analysis between payroll and pension records
  • HR tax slip processing
  • HR year-end processing

    Preferred skills include:

  • Call Centre experience
  • Background in HR or Payroll
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience, in particular with PeopleSoft HCM v9.0 or PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal v9.0

    Required

    • Associate’s Degree/College Diploma
    • At least 3 years experience in human resource management business processes
    • English: Fluent
