IBI Group is currently seeking a Junior IT Administrator to join our Support team to assist remotely and on-site users with applications, troubleshooting windows or other system problems, installing software, maintaining windows accounts, and maintaining printers.
Based in our Toronto Campus office, the primary role will be supporting users in their daily tasks to ensure that a reliable and robust IT platform is available to all. A high customer service focus is critical in the role, and a strong technical skillset is a must.
The successful candidate will be expected to work efficiently with a local and advanced team, also independently with initiatives to achieve wider goals when required. The ability to work to defined corporate standards whilst offering suggestion for continued improvement is also an important part of the role.

Responsibilities:
Provide Phone/Email/On-Site support to Local office
Work as part of centralized IT support team
Utilize the IT ticketing system to communicate with end user, while providing prompt response and timely resolution
Responsible for maintenance, repairs and installations;
Assist all users experiencing operational, hardware, or network connectivity problems with their computer systems and provides basic support for the office productivity software used within the organization;
Perform upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance on desktops, laptops, printers, and other equipment;
Update knowledge and skills to keep up with rapid advancements in computer technology.
Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or equivalent;
A+, Network+, MCP, MCSE certifications are desired, but not mandatory.
1-3 year of professional IT experience;
Experience with both Windows WIN 8/7 and Apple OS X systems;
A+ or Microsoft Certified is an advantage;
Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization;
Willingness to multi-task and be flexible to take on varied responsibilities;
Able to demonstrate patience, tact, and respect;
Detail and follow-up skills required; and
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
