IBI Group’s Calgary, AB office is searching for a Intermediate / Intern Architect to join its growing team. In this role you will be given the opportunity to manage several large-scale residential (high-rise) projects.

Responsibilities: •
Control and direct project teams to meet or exceed client goals and objectives. •
Engage and support business development, marketing of services, extended/ additional services, proposals, presentations, and negotiations. •
Evaluate and enforce the quality control aspects of project deliverables. •
Control and monitor the contractual services required in accordance with project requirements. •
Train and/or mentor technical staff competency.

Qualifications: •
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Lead, Architect, or Architectural Designer, that demonstrates increasing project and client management responsibilities •
University Degree in Architecture •
Familiarity with residential (high-rise) projects •
Ability to assemble and manage multiple complex projects and administer construction contracts on behalf of clientele, while adhering to schedule and budget requirements •
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) •
Strong 2D CAD and Revit experience •
Ability to work independently •
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills •
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities •
Self-motivated, well organized, with a demonstrated passion for design excellence
