Hygieia Medical Clinic is new family physicians and psychologist office in Discovery Ridge. The clinic is currently looking for Medical Office Assistants to join our team.
Job Description
The Medical Office Assistant will be responsible for duties including the following:

Administration duties:
Perform general office duties, like answering telephones, or completing insurance forms handling physician paperwork and other office duties, scanning, sending and receiving faxes, schedule appointments for patients, notifying patients of upcoming appointments and contacting patients upon physicians’ requests , log in patients arriving at clinic, show patients to examination rooms, contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests or admission.
Arrange refferals to specialists. Receiving and disposition of lab and DI results.

Patient Care:
Record patients demographics medical history, vital statistics, or information like test results in medical records, process tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and also prepare them for testing, assist physicians with patient examinations, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures, Perform routine laboratory tests sample analyses, explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians instructions to patients, change dressings on wounds.

Maintenance:
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat clean, dispose of contaminated supplies, maintaining cleanliness of the medical office coordinating with our physicians and specialists, inventory order medical, lab, or office supplies or equipment.
Requirements
Medical Office diploma or certification is recommended.
Medical office experience is recommended.
Computer skills is a minimum requirement. Courteous, friendly and professional conduct is a requirement.
Training on site will be provided.
We are looking for an individual with high accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will be able to work individually and as part of a team, and should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment. We are currently only accepting applicants with computer knowledge and experience.
