The Human Resources Clerk will be responsible for providing assistance to HR department with clerical and technical support in such areas as recruiting, hiring, compensation, and benefits. Clerical work will include the filing of correspondence, cards, invoices, receipts and other records. Other responsibilities include the preparation of incoming and outgoing mail for distribution, and the keeping of accurate, up to date and complete records and forms.

Tasks and responsibilities

Support the department to meet operational requirements

Maintain various databases

Close the files of terminated employees

Treat employment records

Perform and verify the salary adjustments in various databases

Process changes that relate to employee records

Process group benefits and pension plan requests

Perform the classification of documents and employee records

Send registered mail

Maintaining employee records

Triage of resumes

Verifying references

Create employee files

Assist in policy training and new employee integration seminars

Presenting benefits packages

Assist in Payroll

Provide back up for mail sorting and distribution

Provide back up for receptionist for absences and during break times

Provide general back up for human resources department activities

Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Perfectly bilingual

Expert knowledge of MS Office suite

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

University Degree

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

or proceed with Standard Application Form.
