This is an exciting and highly competitive area of law for a marketer to gain experience in.

The Marketing Assistant will provide support to our firm’s marketing communications and business development efforts.

This position is part time, paid hourly, 2 -3 days/week depending on workload, with the occasional evening/weekends for events.

Responsibilities:
- communications : web administration, social media
-writing internal and external newsletters
-event administration
-contact management

Requirements
-Minimum 2-3 years prior marketing experience in a business to business environment, preferably in professional services.
-University education or equivalent marketing designation.
-Excellent communication skills, written and oral, in managing workflow issues, communicating with internal and external contacts.
-Previous experience managing data and/or information.
-Working knowledge and keen interest in social media marketing.
-Events delivery experience for a business to business audience.
-Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential.
-Attitude and personality: “customer service” approach which is enthusiastic, organized, self-motivated; a take-charge team player with a willingness to learn in a constantly evolving environment.

-Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
-Access to personal vehicle for transporting items to offsite venues for set up and tear down.
-Excellent working knowledge of word processing (Word), presentation software (PowerPoint), database management, spreadsheet applications (Excel), web and event support software (Event Brite).
