Job Description:

We are hiring a Clinic Director in our Vancouver office

service excellence. Exciting opportunity to directly
impact our implementation of a new trauma program, aimed
at treating complex trauma, post-traumatic stress
disorder and occupational stress injuries for First
Responders and Uniformed Personnel.
Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect leadership and

management to the assigned staff and associates in
the clinic

  • Plan organize, support and monitor successful

clinical performance

  • Manage clinical and administrative operations,

including staff onboarding, case consultation and
supervision of clinicians

  • Appraise performance on an ongoing and informal

basis and provide an annual performance review with
discussion on development plans

  • Support the Senior Director and Clinic Leadership

Team with project requests, including providing
analysis of clinical and business performance

  • Review, revise, and approve correspondence being

completed/distributed to third parties by staff and
associates

  • Accountable for clinical service delivery and

maintaining quality standards established by
Homewood.

  • Recommend the research and development of new

product and service offerings

  • May participate in planning and implementation of

evidence-based program components to improve
clinical practice, service delivery processes and
client outcomes

  • Responsible for the implementation of outpatient

trauma services.

  • Provide psycho-educational and trauma-themed process

sessions to clients

  • Deliver evidence-based trauma treatment in

individual and group settings

  • Provide trauma service clinical assessments, case

reviews, treatment planning, therapeutic
interventions and discharge planning standards and
processes

  • Provide group and individual treatment services
  • Collaborate with colleagues across services

including Homewood Clinics, Disability Prevention
Services, Return to Work, Health Centre, Homewood
Research Institute and other interdisciplinary team
members
Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree within Counselling, Social Work, or

Psychology or other relevant discipline or
equivalent experience. Psychologist preferred.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience providing Mental

Health and/or Addictions services.

  • Experience in group-based therapy.
  • Some training in delivering trauma therapy.
  • Experience in Trauma Focused CBT, DBT, and

experiential therapies

  • Prior experience working with complex trauma is an

asset.

  • Prior experience working with first responders,

military and veterans is an asset.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role

with clinical and administrative staff.
