Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice Present Sales, the position is responsible for the leadership of the Eastern Canada HJV sales team, in line with the organizations sales goals and strategies. The successful candidate will preferably be located in PEI.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Establishes and manages the regional sales budgets for the year for sales representatives and consolidated budget
- Responsible for new Wholegoods inventory levels and ordering for Eastern Canada Region
- Responsible for used Wholegoods inventory levels, used equipment values; inventory turns and SLOB of new and used inventory.
- Responsible for the Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables of the sales team including ordering and managing vendor statements, approving vendor payments and settlements/discounts.
- Manages and administers pay and incentive systems for the sales representatives.
- Establishes and implements marketing plans for the sales business units.
- Leads and manages improvement initiatives for region.
- Responsible for performance management for sales representatives in the region

Education, Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in the agricultural industry is required
- Post-secondary education equivalent to a University or College Diploma in Agriculture, Business or related field is an asset
- Strong understanding of PFW/CDK software and supplier ordering systems
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft)
- Strategic acumen and strong decision making skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to set realistic and clear strategic, improvement and fiscal departmental objectives, and lead a team in obtaining those goals
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Adaptable and flexible, with desire and ability to mentor future leaders within the organization
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Current driver’s license and clean abstract
