Additional Text:
Continuing Care Assistant Certificate from SIAST; or Health Care Aide Certificate from SK Indian Institute of Technology (SIIT); or Personal Care
Aide Certificate from Saskatoon Business College (SBC); or an equivalent program.
May consider hiring untrained resident attendants who will be required to obtain the SIAST Continuing Care Assistant Certificate or an equivalent
program as identified above within two (2) years at her/his own expense. Untrained applicants enrolled in the CCA certificate program and who have
completed the personal care course are preferred.
Unqualified applicants would have to meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12;
• Must have twelve (12) months previous experience working in a health care environment;
• Knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.
