Mohawk Racetrack currently has an opportunity available for a part – time, hourly Head Salad.

In this role, the duties may include but are not limited to:
•Preparing and serving appetizers, sandwiches and desserts according to standard recipes and presentations
•Washing, cleaning, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits for salads and other required items
•Assisting in preparation and set – up of buffet and other items
•Maintaining proper sanitation procedures in assigned work area and stations at all times
•Ensuring proper food storage in workstation
•Maintaining stock and back – up product to ensure proper flow
•Responding to customer inquiries

Qualifications:
Basic job requirements include:
•Minimum one (1) year work related kitchen/cooking experience
•Completed Food Safety Certificate (attained within the last two years)
•General knowledge of health and safety practices
•Basic math skills
•Demonstrated customer service skills
•Ability to lift 40lbs
•Ability to read and speak English
•Demonstrated verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
•Proven organizational skills
•Ability to work in a team environment

This is a part – time, hourly position based out of Mohawk Racetrack. The hours of work will vary and will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
