Harvest Wines and Spirits is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and customer service oriented individual to join our retail sales team. As a member of our sales team you’ll enhance your knowledge of wine, beer & spirits while engaging with our customers in meaningful & professional manner. Part time positions are available for day, evening, and weekend work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with each customer to understand their needs and desires
• Recommend and assist customers with selection of merchandise
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Merchandising of products to ensure they are displayed with proper signage and ease of shopping
• Open and close cash registers and perform tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons/ vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits
• Compute sales prices, total purchases, receive and process cash or credit payment
• Maintain records related to sales
• Adhere to policies regarding payment and exchanges
• Follow security practices to deter security risks and thefts

Competencies Required:

• Strong sense of responsibility and dedication to their work.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience
• Wine knowledge an asset
• Must be at least 19 years of age
