The primary function of all Hamsar employees is to provide excellent customer service . The function of a Machine Operator main responsibility is to make sure that the machines (CLAM SHELL) keeps working at top condition. Maintenance is carried out as per schedule. Production Schedule is followed.

The following describes the expectations of the Operator.
Screen Print/Clam Shell Machine:

• Follow Work Instructions
• Confirm Operations

Production

• Follow Work Instruction
• Clean and wash up of orders and work area
• Colour mixing knowledge and experience (ink colours with UV dry process)
• Experience and understanding of meeting proper registration on prints
• Running sample prints and compare to controlled sample for quality
• Reference Picking ticket for planning, preparing, quantity and ship dates of each job
• Pull raw material required: Boxes ranges from 15-20 lbs.

Screen Prep:

• Wash and reclaim used screens

Develop Product Knowledge of Hamsar’s raw materials and production practice.
Promote and participate in a team environment to ensure personal and corporate success.

Additional duties may be assigned, to name a few:

• Ask for help when needed
• Assist in Inventory control
• Assist in packaging / calendar insertion when required

Health and Safety and Environmental: Observe health and safety and environmental requirements of the company while on the job at all times. Wear protective equipment as required and report any unsafe actions to supervisor immediately.
