GULZAR TRANSPORT INC. is looking for Dispatch Supervisor:
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Language: English, Punjabi an asset

Salary – $ 27.00 /Hourly

Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible

Minimum Education: High School

Minimum Experience: 1 year

NOC Group: Supervisors, Recording, Distributing and Scheduling Occupations (1215)

• Supervising team of dispatchers, assigning work to the dispatcher, bridging gap between receiving, shipping and dispatching units.
• Communicating with clients across USA and CANADA
• Communicating with other departments of the company i.e . safety, operations, sales and accounting etc.
• Receiving bill of ladings and other reports and check accuracy
• Communication with brokers for border clearance
• Calculating and optimizing load weights appropriate to the type of truck
• Keeping information about master and alternative trucking routes up to date
• Helping customers, company personnel and drivers resolve problems
• Help in hiring and training new dispatchers
• Covering shifts for absentee dispatchers
