Job Description

We are looking for an individual to fill an administrative assistant position in our downtown Montreal financial centre, whose ability to adapt and multi-task will help us drive front desk efficiencies. If you are an outgoing and organized individual, and have the desire to support others then this role is for you.

 

Your customer service skills are second to none, you understand how to put the client first while also handling a wide range of administrative tasks to support our financial security advisors and management team. The support you provide will help assist the team achieve the goals and objectives of the financial centre.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Welcoming visitors to the financial centre at the reception desk;
  • Handling incoming calls and forwarding appropriately;
  • Processing paperwork and payments;
  • Data entry;
  • Handling e-mails and daily incoming/outgoing mail;
  • Filing;
  • Other related tasks.

Qualifications and competencies:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent communication and written skills in both English and French;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Detail oriented and organized;
  • Ability to take initiative and looks for opportunities for improvement;
  • Comfortable using technology;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite;
  • Vocational diploma in office administration or equivalent.
