If you are seeking a fun and challenging role with a fast-paced HR team, we have an exciting opportunity for you as our Human Resources Administrator. If you are energetic, organized and love to multi-task, this is the role for you!

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support which may include:

Processes HR paperwork; inputs data into the HR system; maintains site HR files.

Provides general HR information to team members.

Prepares and posts team member communications as directed.

Provides administrative support to the HR team, including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, directing incoming calls, directing incoming mail, etc.

May conduct pre-screening activities and schedule interviews; may prepare offers.

Maintains site bulletin boards.

Ensures HR forms are available and up-to-date.

Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments.

Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members.

Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources or administrative support

Post-secondary education in HR or a suitable combination of education and experience.

Ability to work well in a team environment, strong communication & organizational skills.

Proven track-record of responsiveness and meeting deadlines.

CPHR Candidate or other HR Designation an asset.

Computer literacy in MS Office; JDE or HR systems experience an asset.

Ability to exceed internal and external Guest expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication.

A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development.

Ability to live GCC’s Values on the job: Integrity, Team Engagement, Drive to Succeed, Service Excellence and Citizenship.

A passion for providing Great Experiences and Memories to our internal and external Guests in the continual quest of achieving Service excellence.

Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB).

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule. The hours of work will be based on operational and business needs.
