At Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, our Dishwashers are some of the most important people in our kitchen. The cleanliness of all kitchen areas, culinary equipment and utensils are paramount when ensuring that our guests get a rockin’ experience. Under the supervision of our Sous Chefs, Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef, our next Dishwasher will work in the heart of our kitchen and will contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Jump into our dishwashing area and make a difference in our kitchen, one plate at a time.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Organizing, rinsing, spraying and loading dishes/cutlery into dishwasher or washing by hand as required

Checking completed load for cleanliness and re-washing if necessary

Reporting any malfunctions, breakage or discrepancies to the culinary management team

Storing all clean items in the appropriate area

Sorting and removing garbage and recycling

Cleaning all general kitchen areas including floors, counters and workspaces

Assisting with the receipt of goods into the work area and stocking shelves

Preparing some food products as requested

Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments

Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)

Performing other duties as assigned or directed

High school diploma

Level 1 FoodSafe Certification

Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate
