The Ministry of the Economy, Labour Market Services Branch is seeking 5 Client Service Consultants (CSC). Two will be headquartered in LMS Prince Albert, one will be headquartered in LMS Meadow Lake, one will be headquartered in LMS Yorkton and one will be headquartered in LMS Estevan.
The successful candidates will be experienced, service oriented individuals with a strong background in both project/contract management and career planning/counseling services.
As a member of the Can-Sask Labour Market Services team, you will network with various employment and training stakeholders, as well as community based organizations, to develop training and employment opportunities. This may include initiating dialogue and relationship building, making group presentations, attending business expositions, producing written materials.
Using your knowledge of current local, provincial and national labour market trends and economic issues, you will be able to conceptualize, develop, negotiate, implement, monitor, evaluate and adjust projects, services and programs, taking into consideration changing priorities and resources to achieve project/program goals.
Using your knowledge of community resources and services related to training, employment and education programs and services, along with your knowledge of methods, theories and approaches related to client assessment and career
counseling, you will be able to develop, negotiate and administer training and employment contracts, facilitate in-house workshops, provide vocational assessments, counseling and career planning services for individuals.
Using your knowledge of human resource management principles and practices, you will initiate and create opportunities to work with employers. This may include human resource planning, the identification of staff training needs, and the development of employee recruitment and retention strategies.
