Court Technology Services (CTS) is seeking a Systems Analyst based in downtown Calgary. Are you an IT professional that is personable, energetic and thrives in playing an integral part? You will work with a team responsible for day-to-day electronic device(s) support for a select group of users. We prevent any interruptions in the court proceedings by ensuring the digital recording and AV systems are functioning to specification. You will be interacting with the Judiciary, Directors, Managers and administrative staff.
Expert knowledge is required in supporting the hardware and software currently in use by CTS. We utilize various computing devices (computers, notebooks, smartphones, tablets) and numerous pieces of audio visual equipment.
The successful candidate will require strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, above average analytical/problem-solving skills will be essential to helping the clients resolve any problems with technology. The ability to work independently and set priorities is essential in this position. Occasional travel within the province may be required.
University graduation in Computer Science or an Information Technology related discipline. Equivalencies will be considered as follows: two-year diploma in computer technology or a related discipline supplemented with two years of related experience; or a related one-year certificate and three years related experience.
Experience with desktop/deskside support, audio visual and digital recording systems will be considered an asset. Experience working with Microsoft Office and Novell will be preferred.
$2,113.81 – $3,170.21 bi-weekly
This competition may be used to fill future full time, part time, permanent and temporary vacancies. Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening and must have a valid driver’s license.
