As a member of our dynamic team of professional accountants, your previous experience in the investment accounting field will provide the skills necessary to complete the due diligence supporting accurate and timely financial statements. Utilizing your strong investment knowledge you will provide key analysis on financial statement components. You will analyze and summarize complex investment transactions, financial risks, derivatives, financial instruments, investment structures and products. You “excel” at Excel, have a proven ability to create, innovate and produce reports in a timely manner, and your strong communication skills will assist you in this challenging role.

University graduation, with major coursework in accounting, plus 3 years directly related experience in accounting for investments and debt is required.
– Related diploma plus 5 years directly related experience.
– Accounting designation and 1 year additional related experience.
Completion of courses in investments and investment accounting principles, supporting an understanding of financial instruments and complex investments structures, is mandatory.
Proficiency in Excel (ability to develop and use macros, array formulas, pivot tables and lookup functions) is also required for this position.
Experience with PeopleSoft is considered an asset.
Well-developed communication and analytical skills are also a requirement.

$2,588.03 to $3,394.66 Bi-weekly ($67,547 to $88,600 annually)
