Are you looking for a new opportunity to challenge your skills and ignite your interest? If so, the Continuing Care Branch in the Health Services Division could be the opportunity that you have been waiting for!

Reporting to the Director of the Funding and Information Planning Unit, you will provide technical/business support for the Designated Seniors Living and home care component of the Financial Information Reporting Management (FIRMS) System.
To be successful in this role, you will possess knowledge of life cycle of systems development and application support.

Qualifications

University graduation in Business Administration plus a minimum of 2 years progressively responsible related experience in economics, statistics and/or health administration is required. Equivalencies will be considered. Experience in data quality management principles and process improvements are also required. Experience with systems development and application support is essential. Experience with LTC and SL operations and/or with other database software would be desired.

The following competencies are required for these positions:

Systems Thinking: Ability to apply systems thinking to conduct research, coordinate access to the system, lead data quality reviews and user acceptance testing; and to prepare statistical reports. You will monitor/make recommendations and work directly with operators across the province to improve data quality of long-term care (LTC) and supportive living (SL) financial and statistical information reported through FIRMS.

Develop Networks: Excellent verbal and written communications skills as you successfully build positive working relationships with a wide variety of clients.

Building Collaborative Environments: Strong interpersonal, collaboration, facilitation skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary

$2,524.91 – $3,311.86 bi-weekly ($65,900 – $86,440 annually)

This is a full-time temporary position for a 2-year term.
