Advance the delivery of court administration services that provide Albertans with comprehensive resolution services for their legal issues.

Your strategic leadership will support planning and delivery of Court of Queen’s Bench Administration and Transcript Management Services activities. With a focus on service excellence, you will provide advice to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Resolution and Court Administration Services and the Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench to inform decisions on key priorities and directions. Applying a systems approach, you will work with your team to drive and influence development and ongoing evaluation of a standardized process model designed to meet the evolving needs of the Court and the Albertans it serves. Collaboration and trusted relationships with members of the Ministry, Court and key stakeholders is critical as you champion enhancements and innovative practices in Court of Queen’s Bench Administration and Transcript Management Services. In your role as Executive Director, Court of Queen’s Bench Administration, you will be appointed as Clerk of the Court of Queen’s Bench for the province of Alberta pursuant to the Court of Queen’s Bench Act.

You bring extensive related senior management experience overseeing complex operations in a large, service-oriented organization. Your background reflects an understanding of the issues impacting court administration services, and a systems approach to developing processes that promote innovation and sustainability. You are a progressive leader with demonstrated strengths in facilitating organizational change, building capacity, and inspiring excellence in your teams. Proven negotiation and collaboration skills, diplomacy, and sensitivity to protocol issues in fostering relationships with diverse stakeholders are essential. Knowledge of federal and provincial statutes and regulations along with a related degree is preferred.

Notes

This executive manager opportunity offers a salary range of $125,318 – $164,691 ($4,801.47 – $6,310.03 bi-weekly). Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening. This competition may be used to fill future vacancies.
