Parks Division – Hinton District is looking for a highly motivated, well-organized, responsible administrative support person. This individual will be part of a team accountable for providing administrative support for program delivery in our Grande Cache office. As part of the District team, you will strive to maintain Parks high standards, ensuring quality customer service.
This individual will work out of the Grande Cache Parks Office located at 9607 – 97 Street, Grande Cache. The successful candidate must have excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills and must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and show initiative in taking on and completing new and challenging assignments within set deadlines. This position will involve an irregular work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Some of the duties are, but not limited to; cash handling, revenue reconciliation, telephone answering, reception and light cleaning duties.
The requirements of this position are a High School Diploma, a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and excellent computer skills. Must have above average proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Certification in First Aid and Defensive Driving would be an asset. A demonstration of computer skills will be required.
$18.84 – $22.76 per hour (plus 11.2% in lieu of benefits).
Term of Employment: End of April, 2015 through September 9, 2015 dependent on operational requirements.
The candidates selected for interviews will be tested regarding the RAP (Reserve.AlbertaParks.ca) system and cash out procedures.
Successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Abstract. The candidates selected for an interview must bring at least 3 work related references to the interview.
