If you are interested in working in a fast-paced and dynamic office, this opportunity will appeal to you. We are looking for an experienced administrative assistant to be part of the Strategic and Client Services Branch of Tax and Revenue Administration (TRA).

You will be responsible for exercising initiative in undertaking administrative support duties for a diverse range of activities. Utilizing your strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), you will be responsible for tasks such as the formatting and finalization of correspondence, presentations, and reports; support for organizational initiatives; preparation of meeting minutes, agendas and surveys; and the accurate processing of invoices. Ensuring the appropriate filing of documents for all file systems within the division will also be an important part of this position.

We will look to you to use your client service skills and high level of attention to detail to maintain and enhance our processes and keep things running smoothly. As a member of the Administrative Support team in TRA, you will provide assistance to other divisions in TRA as required including providing cover-off for TRA front desk reception as requested.

As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate integrity, professionalism, including the ability to deal with confidential material, initiative, and a commitment to working in a team environment. Effective verbal and written skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with individuals at various levels in the organization.


Completion of a high school diploma, supplemented by a minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience.

A two year diploma in administration or a related discipline is an asset.

A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint are required.

Experience using Adobe Professional and ARTS (Action Request Tracking System) or other information management tracking systems is preferred.

Equivalencies will be considered on the basis of one year of directly related experience for one year of related education, or one year of related education for one year of directly related experience.

$1,843.28 to $ 2,256.80 Bi-weekly ($48,109 to $58,902 Annually)
