WHO are YOU?

Reporting to the General Manager, you are the leader of our Moncton logistics team, the driving force to operational excellence! During your first year, you will learn the ‘Glow way’ by having an opportunity to execute all tasks required to ensure client expectations are met. These duties include but are not limited to Glow Sign message changes, amusement deliveries, event attending, running a casino, etc. You will be required to attend a training period with management at our head office in Halifax. Further daily training will take place at our Moncton location.

Our Operations Manager will be responsible to delegate and/or execute daily tasks, keeping customer satisfaction top of mind at all times. You will be accountable for your staff and ensure they have the skills in place to achieve the excellence our clients have come to expect. You will manage the Moncton warehouse and work in conjunction with Halifax operations to facilitate product transfers. During our high season, there will be events managed collaboratively by both Halifax and Moncton operations. After year one is complete, you will manage and oversee all maintenance on our fleet of vehicles, signs and event products.

Glow is growing and we are seeking a dynamic leader who will be empowered to expand, develop and motivate a hard-working and skilled operations team for our Moncton office. As our NB operations lead, you will be the face of Glow, the on-site contact engaging with our clients. You must be an incredibly DETAILED & THOROUGH on-site coordinator who is able to motivate your team from start to finish. This includes event set-up, execution and removal, ensuring safety and efficiency are your number one priorities. If you are a results-oriented self-starter and if you are a think-on-your-feet trouble-shooter, we want YOU!

To sum up, in order to be part of our dynamic team, we need you to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Available to work weekends, evenings, early mornings and weekdays
  • Physically active, able to lift 65lbs
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Related education
  • Excellent motivation & management skills
  • Attention to detail, especially when completing required paperwork
  • Trouble shooting genius
  • Hands on supervisor, a LEADER by example
  • Control and record event hours and inventory
  • Impeccable on-site coordination skills
  • Ability to communicate with management and staff
  • Ability to maximize efficiency throughout operations

Bonus Points …

  • Experience driving trailers and cube vans
  • Bilingual (BIG asset)
  • Related experience an asset
